After a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign and a new chef Simon Jewitt at the helm this gem in Harrogate is serving up great flavours. Fermentation, wood elements, skrei cod, dill and the likes you will find on the menu.
“I’ve always kept my finger on the pulse when it comes to most types of cuisine. When ‘Nordic cuisine’ first came into the limelight it was something that really stood out for me. I spent a fortune on books and going to different restaurants in aid of teaching myself about it – it was fascinating.”
There is now talks about rebranding the restaurant as “Modern food using Yorkshire produce” as the place is finding competition from high street chains getting more fierce. Jay Rayner has taken to social media to support this lil gem! So should you. It is totally worth it.
